Happy mid-autumn festival!

This is a special day for all Chinese people. It's mid-autumn festival,a ancient and traditional festival, according to tradition people should be at home reuniting with big family.It means family harmony as well.There is a sentence to express a wish which people want to realize' moon round , people reunion ' .Because the pronounce 'round' is very similar with 'reunion' in Chinese letter.Therefore, moon represent harmony and reunion.

Moon cake is absolutely necessary for mid-autumn festival.Eating moon cakes signifies that life getting happier and sweeter.

Today I strongly feel homesick , I miss my parents my grandmother ,they are still in China,and I know they also miss me especially in such special day.

Water Festival in Burma

The water festival in Burma is in order to celebrate new year. As we know it's the most important festival in Burma, and it 's called Thingyan by Burmese.
Before Water festival Burmese buy a lots foods to prepare for big party.When the festival come nobody mind pump-action water rifles and scoop buckets, these guys know that the only way to satisfactorily soak your target is through using high-pressure hosepipes.Spray water to other people means bring good luck to others.And normally the whether is very hot over 45 degree when the water festival is celebrated.So it's really cool when water make your body wet.The padauk flower ,which appears at this time of year , is closely associated with Water festival. Golden in colour and with a sweet fragrance, the flowers and leaves of the paduak are used to decorate streets and houses and are often worn in the hair.This festival lasts three days. During water festival Burmese wear their troditional dresses enjoying dancing and throwing water each other ,they all looks happy and funny. There is a special food for this festival to celebrate ,it 's called Moant Lone Ye Baw. It is made with stick rice and sugar tasted sweet.I reckon it means good wish for next year.

what's Daffodil Day?

The Cancer Council's Daffodil Day is the largest merchandise based national fundraising event of its kind for cancer research, education, and patient support in the Southern Hemisphere. The event had its beginnings in Canada around 30 years ago and is now held in eight countries including the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Denmark and Australia. It is a day to remember people touched by cancer, a day to celebrate survivor ship and to hope for a brighter future.
The daffodil is the international symbol of hope for all those affected by cancer.

I 'm very sad many people touched by cancer.They suffer a lots physical and mental agonies . Some of them feel hopeless to survive. I think we need pay more attention,more care on them.

Oh my god!My hard work

I'm very tied recently, I work so hard from Monday to friday over 45 hours. Tursday and Friday I worked from noon to midnight, when i got home i felt sore over my body. Another poor thing was that i did extra job whithout additional pay.

In fact I do this job only for money, nothing esle.Both my husband and I are new migrators.We have no choice except working hard. I have a dream about my career in the future. I want be a nurse, and i can try my best to achieve it.

i'm learing driving a car. i'm not good at this, so i have a little bit nervous when i drive,especially heavy traffic. i'm going to take the drive technical test on frist of September. But now i 'm not sure that i can pass the test. so good luck to me.

hello everybody!
i'm very glad to talk to you! i'm a english learner. i'v lived in Austria for 1 year. i work in a cake factory weekday. i'm very happy with my life,but one problem is that my English isnot well. Sometimes during my work people communicate with me i can't talk fluently and misunderstand something. i'm disapointed with this. so i really want improve my english,especially speaking and listening. for this reason,i attend to english class at weekend and in my free time i watch english movie, speaking english as much as possible
now i'like to share our experience about learning english successfully.
